LOCAL AUTHOR'S SHOWCASE, AUSTIN AFRICAN-AMERICAN BOOK FESTIVAL. CARVER LIBRARY I will present No Mistake in the 2014 African American Book Festival Local Author's Showcase on Saturday, June 28th. I was selected along with other local authors to read and discuss our works. Presentations start at 12:00 PM at the Carver Library, 1161 Angelina Street. Youth as well as the young at heart were pleased to get their signed copy!

The book reading and signing at Resistencia Bookstore on December 14th was a HUGE SUCCESS; enthusiastic, Standing-Room-Only crowd, and the books SOLD OUT! Several people bought multiple copies!

For those who were not able to attend, We Missed You! My desire is for this book to land in the hands of EVERY PERSON who is in pain; who feels hopeless and "not good enough." I often say this is the book I wish I had growing up. I am pleased and humbled that my life experience could be utilized to make a difference in another's life, through this body of work.
Because writing the book was such an inspired process, when I finally decided to self-publish I didn't have A CLUE as to how to publish or market a book (in fact, I had not planned to write this book; the story was channeled through me)! I simply asked G.O.D. to guide me to the "how," and I would do the "what" (publish the book). With that said, I am looking forward to future readings and signings, and meeting you there!
